It looks I severely misjudged the ability of the TomMusial.com audience to recognize old skool rap lyrics. This week’s winner is Tahishia, who knew only one song and no artists.
Our pal Rave Doman actually submitted a correct song and a correct artist, but he was awarded negative points for asking me to add “Classic Rap” songs to what was essentially already a list of “Classic Rap” songs. He was awarded double negative points for requesting that I add Biz Markie’s Just a Friend to a list that already included that song.
Answers after the link. Review them closely. This is obviously a learning opportunity.

Ah, yes, Tom caught me requesting that he add a song to the quiz which was already on the quiz. I deserve my negative points. In effort to get back in his good graces, I offer this lyric completely from memory:
Well Superman looked up at me
He said you rock so naturally
I said now that you’ve learned a deal
Let me tell you why I’m so for real
I’m Cosmo D from Outer Space
I came to rock the Human race
I do it right
’cause I can’t do it wrong
That’s why the whole world
Been singing this song
